The market for the supply of gas and electricity is constantly evolving with consolidation and changes in government policy. It has become a complex market and EnvirUP aim to cut through the crap (yes that’s right : Crap) and get best value for our clients!

They tell us that ‘the energy market has changed significantly in recent years due to international increases in the price of oil, increased cost of generation, security of supply, closure of old coal fired power stations and the impending closure of nuclear power plants. The cost of reducing carbon emissions is also impacting costs.’ The UK is a ‘net importer’ for energy…that means means we import more energy than we produce and are subject to the will and whim of  international commodity traders (behaving very much like sheep).

O.K. we can agree with that….but British businesses still need to buy energy and that commentary serves only to confuse the market and make it ‘seem’ harder for customer to get best value. We get best value for our clients, by doing what we do every day and knowing when to ‘believe’ and when to ‘act’!
